Today we drove over to Arley Hall, taking advantage of our Season Tickets and trying to get a bit of walking exefcise. My project for today was to shoot some new images of Arley Hall with the K-3 II set to Monochrome. I wasn't quite sure whether I would use these as black and white or make them sepia, but in the end I decided that the vintage looking sepia toning gave the most sympathetic approach to the hall and grounds. There's no doubt in my mind that if mono is wanted then it's far better to switch off the colour at the shooting stage. Then we think in monochrome rather than it being an afterthought. I've used all the pictures, albeit choosing the best of several of some shots, and they are all uncropped.
And here they are!
