Over the Bridge to Skye

There are so many favourite places in Scotland, but one of the favourite favourites is the Isle of Skye. There are some places that are quite desolate and deserted, and we could spend hours hardly seeing a soul. However, there are always a handful of people in even the most remote areas, usually sporting mobile phones and iPads, but sometimes even cameras. On this day we're parked up somewhere remote, hoping that when we get back to the car it will actually start again, because it's a long, long walk back to civilisation. But all is well, a couple of Japanese tourists, a Highland cow we shall call Angus and some tinkling water, as small waterfalls litter the landscape. Even the weather is kind. Here are the images, shot with the Pentax K20D, another favourite of the favourites, a splendid design, but a bit slow now compared to current models.

Always Carry a Camera

The Golden Days of Motoring, Part Two

Continuing the look at yesterday's classic car show, I could have spent many more hours looking at these fine machines and chatting to their owners, plus of course collecting a huge set of images. Only one car that I would like to see again seemed to...
