Some places have a special connection, and Crail is one of them. The Scottish part of the family hailed from Edinburgh and their 1930s/1940s home from home was Crail in the Kingdom of Fife. It's easy to see why, a gorgeous little coastal town, with a grand view of the Isle of May. In fact I have photos somewhere of the family in those far off days visiting the Isle of May, although I'm not sure if it's still possible to do that. However, it is possible to enjoy the various places in Fife, or at least it might be possible again one day, so in the meantime........
