If we travel down the road to Crinan, heading for the head of the Crinan canal, a fork takes us to the old village. We parked in the small car park and then strolled down to the sea front, a trek of some 50 yards or so. This piece of coastline, sheltered by a small island just a few hundreed yards off shore, was teeming with wildlife.
This otter was pretty playful and not at all shy. The locals came out and joined us as we shot hundreds of images of him playing, hunting and feeding.
There were also masses of herons, and we managed to capture a few reasonable images.
A few more from Crinan old and not quite so old!
