Things That I have Owned

18 Apr 2020 4:40PM   Views : 454 Unique : 327

I have done a large amount of selling on eBay, although not recently, including some huge collections of photographic equipment and materials. It was all fascinating, so today I'm taking a trip down memory lane and looking at some of the things that I once had, whether owned by me or owned by one of the people I was selling for. So let's go now and have a look at the archive hard drive and see what goodies we can find....

A camera paperweight

Ilford Pixie 127 Camera

Exacta Varex Kit

The Ultra-Rare Kodak Brownie 127 Albino

The beautiful Voigtlander Bessamatic

Lantern slide of the Coronation of Queen Victoria

Zenit Photo Sniper outfit, not recommended for use on the street these days!

Lantern Slide of Dorothy Vernon Steps at Haddon Hall

Voigtlander Bessa RF, 1947

There's a few bits and bobs, maybe we'll have a delve into more stuff in a few days' time.

So, we meet again, Doc-tor....

There I am, an unsuspecting 12-year-old, waiting for a new Saturday evening serial about an old man who travels in time. Twenty-five minutes later, there I am totally wowed by the most exciting bit of new TV I had ever seen. Yes, the first episode of...

The Amazing Dalbeattie Museum Trust

This is a small but packed museum in Dalbeattie, Dumfries and Galloway. It covers a couple of floors in a corner shop location and is packed with artefacts, the bad news for us being that many of them are things that we have owned or used as youngste...

Golden Slumbers

There's an exhibitions of Egypt's Golden Mummies at Manchester Museum, and we went down to see it this afternoon. I travelled very light this time, in the end using just the Pentax MX-1 compact camera. The conditions were very dark and the exhibits l...
