Approach to Worsley Delph

By johnriley1uk
Worsley Delph is where the Bridgewater canal disappears underground into the old mining tunnels and this is the part of the main canal that leads in that direction, under the arches we can see in background. It's an area rich in photo opportunities, and now accessible again thanks to a slight relaxation of travel rules in Lockdown. A new lens to try, a bit of freedom and a fine day all combined to make a pleasurable wander around the area.

Your new lens produces a great range of bright colours. It looks a very photogenic area with the canal and surrounding buildings plus the feeling of freedom to roam again. I wish we had that as well up here!
