Round the back of that derelict chapel that I love to photograph is an old wide entrance. I met the guy who lives in the adjacent grave digger's house and he said that he was constantly fixing that door as teenagers broke it down to have drinking parties inside the chapel. If I poke a camera through the gap and up the ISO we can have a peek inside for ourselves, which is interesting but hardly a great photo. With this view, I shoot it for the gorgeous colour and the textures. The light shines across the scene in the afternoons, so especially in winter with the low sun it enhances all the rough textures.
