Caerlaverock Castle

By johnriley1uk
This castle has a very unusual three sided design - IIRC it is one of only three similar designs in the UK. This is the new castle, and just nearby, accessed from the same site, is what is left of the original castle. When this is seen, it's a sobering thought that at one time it could be reached directly from the sea.

Great photograph of this castle in its picturesque setting. There is also some nice stonework inside, well worth photographing.

It looks like a small clokwise rotation would be of benefit as the reflections should drop directly vertical from the subject.
