Entrance to Sorbie Tower

A complete change of scenery as we look at the entry way to the delightfully well hidden Sorbie Tower, in Dumfries and Galloway. It's fine to call at, see the outside, peek through any gaps in the masonry, have a picnic on the provided tables, but not OK to open the door and go inside. Needless to say, that makes it a magnet for our interest!

No idea what that is John....and it is a wonderful photo...I love how the stones pick up that little bit of green (algae? lichens? moss?) that helps make a beautiful composition "pop".

A very intriguing doorway, that just makes you want to see what is beyond it. Not until we get rid of the virus?
A real ancient looking door but well captured.
