Fred Dibnah's Headgear

It can't be many people who have a miniature pit headgear operating in their garden, but Fred Dibnah was one of them. This is a detail of the colourful bits of the structure, which now has its home in Lancashire Mining Museum at Astley Green.

It looks a bit Heath Robinson, especially the alarm bell? However, great capture, with all the bright colours, but to be pit headgear, looks far too clean!
