Gang of Three

The implication of this is that the three lads have thrown the pipes down the hill shattering them. The reality is that we came across the broken pipework and set up the shot accordingly. The purpose was to show how the camera lies and make the point that reportage can actually sometimes be not quite what it seems. In any event, my two young brothers-in-law and their pal were more than happy to act for the camera as I explored ideas like this. This was shot on Kodachrome in 1977, so we have all grown up a bit since then!
