Dent Viaduct

By JohnT1974
This here is Dent Viaduct living quite proudly in the Yorkshire Dales. My plan of attack was to visit Ribblehead Viaduct, then Dent Viaduct approx 5 miles from Ribblhead, then on to Aysgarth Falls near Leyburn (approx 14 miles) and finally on to High Force and Low Force Watrerfalls (about 1 hour drive away from Aysgarth). As I was having so much fun with these Viaducts and Aysgarth falls, time got the better of me and I headed for home about 10pm with the sun gone to rest. High Force and Low Force will have to wait another day.
What impresses me most about these viaduct structures is beauty in strength. They have stood the test of time when modern structures do not seem to last as long.

Settings 1/125s, f6.7 ISO 200, 70-200mm f2.8 lens at 70mm

Beautiful evening light, well captured and rendered in black and white.
