Bridgnorth Station on the Severn Valley Railway line - the line runs to Kidderminster some 14 miles away where connections are available on the national networks. The Severn Valley was one of the first, if not the very first, of the preservation lines to be opened following the Beeching axe of the early sixties.

So good that many of these branch lines have been preserved by enthusiasts, Ken.

What a wonderful little engine, it's so nice to see them restored and steam travel so popular. Did you watch the recent 2 part documentary on BBC Four about restoration of these lines? It was very interesting Smile
