This picture dates back to the winter of 1982/83. It was originally on a transparency but was scanned on to computer for archive purposes.
The quality is not too good I agree, but it is a record of the harsh winter. Local people cannot remember such ice flows on the Severn. As we approach Easter there is a possibility that snow could be with us still. So I will post more reminders of 82/83 during the week..

Yes, a good record shot and definitely one from the archives, Ken.
I have a lot of transparencies scanned on to my Mac but can't say I am happy with the quality in any way: your's looks a lot better than mine.
