MUD FLATS

By JOKEN
i was intrigued by this geometric line of wooden breakwaters which are found at the Snettisham RSPB on the wash in Norfolk. At high tide they are mostly covered by the shallow waters, but as the tide recedes so do these piles appear out of the mud .

I like the abstract patters left behind as the water recedes.

An image which reminds me greatly of marching troops, as they cross the war stricken Word War II Deserts.

Brilliant. Regards Nathan

Possibly an image that most would not have noticed or considered, Ken, myself included.
Nice contrast in surfaces and materials, and the diagonal of old posts crossing the mud just makes the shot.
Ronnie.
