I think this is a griffon Vulture, but if I am wrong perhaps someone will correct me. Not taken in the wild sadly, but at the Gauntlet Falconry Centre at Knutsford.

Nice image and Mike has diagnosed it correctly - it is a juvenile - feather development is incomplete and there are lots of fine wooly feathers around the head which are not present in adult birds. A
