Hi everyone!

Sorry for lack of uploading for the past few weeks - just haven't had any time to take photos Sad

Well, thanks to Dave Ovenden I've been given a bit of a push on this new idea Smile I managed to pick up a super cheap glass fishtank for 35.99 from a local shop and filled it with water. At the moment I'm only using one flash, but I'm waiting for an ebay item to arrive so I can use three flashes at once at different angles.

I hope it's good Smile

Many thanks

Good work Jonah...I like it a lot....Im guessing your using the strobe function on the flash....Perhaps a bit of photoshop work would correct a couple of issues until you get another flash or 2...(check out new prices though as they seem to be falling and ebay ones are going for near the price of new ones)

Thanks Paul - what issues do you think there are?
a good shot but a darker background would make the liquid stand out

Looks good to me, Jonah, I'm sure your new kit will improve it even more Smile

Hi Jonah....The only issue I see is a touch of over exposure on the top part of the image....The water line is easy to mask off and reduce the exposure so it blends in with the bottom part of the capture.

Its just how I see it through my my eyes....That said it is a great capture and just an idea from me....Have a tinker and play and see if it works...Its cheaper than buying multiple speedlites.

All the best

I like the fact you've captured the strawberry beautifully sharp. Well done!

Good go Jonah, if you want to keep the white BG and make the water splash stand out bounce the flash off black card to give the water a dark edge (like you would with a glass).
Half the fun is finding out how things work, more rewarding that way Smile
Thats cool, have you tried inverting it? just random thought for something to try Smile
