Ghost stream

A shot of the Afon Caerfanell near Talybont-on-Usk, taken one evening last week. The overcast sky and overhanging trees meant I needed a 30 second exposure, but I love the ghostly effect of the water with the rock sticking out.

A very eyecatching thumbnail. I like the dreamy effect you've got on the water here ... that large rock looks like it's floating.

I'd be tempted to desaturate the very bright greens in the background as they tend to pull the eye away from the centre of the shot.

Yes, 30 sec exposure is great on this! gives it nice velvet feel.

I like the way the rock is so defined against the water. In fact I'd be tempted to crop off all the green foliage! A bit drastic maybe?
