Pen y Fan from Corn Du

By jond
Trying to pick a photo to go on the front of a promotional flyer. Is this one any good or should I go for one of my other shots? I haven't done much photography recently. This is fairly recent, but it was just a handheld snap. I want an image with a bit of 'Wow!' factor but I'm not sure if this is good enough. Does anybody have an opinion?

Not sure about the WOW - but this is a really nice image.

I guess one consideration is whether or not any print will go on the image in the brochure design and if so where.

Other than that - It is a great photo - love the path moving up to the top and the clouds.

Cheers Andy

Its a great image of a fantastic place. It depends on what the flyer is promoting i suppose. If its the Brecon Beacons or anything to do with walking or outdoors then yes. If its promoting womens pads with wings then maybe not Wink

Thanks for the comments. The flyer is to promote my graphic design business. The photo will have no text on it, although it will be cropped a bit. The last version of the flyer had the photo of Llangors Lake (Llyn Syfaddan if you're that way inclined) that I uploaded on 5th March 2006 on the front. That is probably one of my best ever shots and I want something that will be up to the same standard. I got a lot of positive response from the last flyer, because of the photo on the front. I also produced a set of 6 different business cards with a different photo on each - it was amazing how many people tried to collect the set - which turned out to be quite a clever way to clutter up potential clients' offices with loads of copies of my card!

great view Jon and a good image ,might be worth going here early or later as the sun is dropping ,you should get the wow factor then with light and shadows playing their part.
