That is incredible. How do you get so close with that lens and get it so razor sharp? The detail is out of this world. I use RAW and a 100mm Canon Macro but cannot get anything like yours.

I just have the 50mm lens reverse mounted and this image is made up of 2 shots stacked to give a larger DOF.

Absolute stunner - loving the details of the eye. So whats the minimum focusing distance it has achieved you so the insect doesn't fly away?

With my setup the focus distance is fixed at about 3 inches so hit can be a bit hit and miss.
