Stage Lighting 03

By jonwebber
Taking advantage of the dance stage lighting again, and a bit of accidental amputation of one hand. Oh well, that's photography for me! Barbara has a full set of hands here
Thank you all for the interest you have shown in this completed series of Leeds' explosion of performing arts last weekend, and, by the way, we saw our only advert for the occasion last night at about 11pm in Leeds City Station, four days after it ended.

One of the Brides of Dracula, perhaps? I gather they were missing bits here and there, by the end of the show at least Wink
As for the ad - that's post-publicity for you!

The hand doesn't bother me at all - in fact I rather like it - it's random and natural. But what I like especially is the shaft of red light falling on her from the right. Balances the picture nicely.

Good lighting, and with Barbs comment here,
it must the hands under the frock,
that makes,''many hands make light work'' !!

Nice capture, Jon - even minus half a hand! I was at the 1940s weekend in Haworth on Saturday, and in a few of my grab shots I chopped off a few feet! Wink

Just shows how sad I am, I would have spent hours replacing that hand! Great lighting well captured.
