Neo-hican

By Jools_jti
This guy was one of the few people on the High Street not trying to publicise a show. However his statue like appearance made him look like one, as the common approach for distributing flyers was the leaflet holding statue.

I tried to get this shot from the other side, but a tourist positioned themselves between me and this guy. It took some time for him to realise the audience he had, and started playing with his phone to announce he wasn't a performer.

I repositioned and got the shot.
Last one of the festival.
Hope you like it, thanks for all the C+C.

Excellent use of the light, well captured. Trival fact for the the day, the hair cut is actually a Huron. Named after the native American tribe Smile

Interesting, I did a little research before titling and found that the reference to Mohican/Mahican or Mohawk is a misnomer and probably a mistaken identity of the Wyandot Native American tribe by explorers. It was adopted by the British to refer to the hair style rather than the tribe.

Just found out that the Wyandot are aka Huron, nice work HairyMark. We have to just rewind history and tell all the punks in the 70's that it's not a mohawk!

Learning with pictures, great Smile

Oh and the Neo reference is due to the Matrix, just in case.
