Viewing large is a must as the detail and light are amazing. A very beautiful shot.
It's just like a skating rink outside today - lethal. It's going to be a challenge driving tomorrow morning.

Hi Jools!

Glad I decided to have a quick peek at your PF or I would have missed this one!

A really lovely low light shot Jools! A very appealing composition with the requisite 'foreground interest' supplied by the snowy edging of the lake and this also provides good lead into the image too. You have picked up a bit of 'noise on the bottom right and across the top of the image (though this may be a product of saving to web and having to reduce the image). Either way it doesn't detract from a well thought out and accomplished shot in difficult light, ie. shooting into the sun.

Very well done on this Jools and I look forward to seeing more as you progress in this particular field of photography.

Thanks Andy....and for the comments.....would like some advice on the 'noise' factor..how to reduce this for future shoots....jools Wink
