self portrait

By joseluissc
My first self portrait attempt.
Doing for the first time.
Not sure if acceptable or not.
This was when I shoot a wagon (very old replica) I found on the street, but with a very bad background and very harsh sun light.
So when on the shadow to take a door detail I saw this distorted reflections.

Personally I don't like only the aspect ratio of this image

Really like this - quite haunting and prefer the b&w.

This is very clever. The reflection on the right seems to be looking at the reflection on the left. It has the feel of an old painting. I particularly like the initial composition because of the parts of the vehicle that are showing.

I've made this crop thinking more about a portrait like composition. I like here the lines making separating the reflections.
(for what I saw on your portfolio and home site, I'll keep your judgement!) : -)
Thank you Carmen!

No Pamela... ... ...you're clever! : -)
You saw what I didn't on shooting, nor on post processing.
In fact it is... maybe more pointed on the camera...
I confess the right reflection (even both much desfigured) as a very personal meaning to me... it remembers me my late grandfather.

I like the initial composition too, despite not feel it like a portrait. Also like the reflection background, though, not so very old windows as they seem to be.

Thank you Pamela!
