Kingy

By JoshReptiles
Hi all,

Went to the nest today throughout the day and the house pair have had their first conflict so i got some shots of them fighting and screaming at each other!
You can tell spring is in the air now as the days are getting longer, good for photography, and i was watching a wren start to build his nest this morning just outside the house!
So later today my mum bought me a camera with 50m cable so next weaken I'm going to wire it back to the TV so we can watch it from the kitchen! Grin ( after all it is my mums favourite bird! Wink )
Thanks for looking and for the comments and votes on the hornbill!

Josh

Lovely capture but maybe we could lose the twig bottom left.

How wonderful, to be able to watch these birds on a daily basis. I agree with Joan (re: twig), also there is a bar of 'blur' across the perch which looks rather odd. Lovely colours and details on the bird though! Smile

Hi mate, Be very very careful who you tell about being around a Kingfisher nest! You do need a special photography license to photograph the Kingfishers around a nest site. And is a criminal offence to do so without one. Just a word of warning thats all mate Smile Another cracking shot.
