Both are superb and work in their own right; it's not a case of either/or.
But for me personally, if I had to choose between them, I'd go with V1. I love the way it's such an invasion of personal space, and yet because the subject is facing away from and not connecting with the viewer, it's like she's completely unconcerned by that 'intrusion'.

Prefer V2, not sure why, its a bit of a trend currently.

Two fine images. Prefer V1 as I find the right hand side of V2 a little bright and distracting.
