Etherow Weir

By jowilde
The Weir is about 20 foot high and stands on the River Etherow, it was used to carry water to the Cotton Mill which used to be at Etherow Country Park. The original bridge has long since gone and was replaced in 2006 by a new one. The River Etherow flows into the River Goyt which then flows into the River Mersey.
