Orange longwing

By jstock
Dredging the back catalogue here. Went to Amazonia in Strathclyde Park back in August. Since I was with the kids I got about 3 seconds per shot. Worst part was that my lens misted up immediately due to the humidity - I panicked and (for some reason) swapped it for another one and managed to mist up the sensor too. We were only there for about 40 minutes, so it never did quite clear. Hence, not as sharp as it should be!

The composition and pov make this one stand out - that and the vibrant colours of course!

Well taken under the circumstances.

It still looks good despite the mist problems. Hopefully the sensor cleared up! It is sharp and colourful, so no complaints here.
