Well something different for me, had a stroll round Oakwell today to try something else.

The pond at the back is frozen over and was full of chunks of Ice, so I thought I would have a go at some HDR. I really like how this block of Ice has turned out, all I have done is the HDR in photomatix and then curves and a sharpen in Photoshop.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking Smile

EDIT: I have uploaded the 0 ev photo so you can see what it looked like straight from camera...

Its taken at 270mm zoom

What an amazing "puzzling" photograph Julie. Hard to make out what it is let alone how big it is.
You really should make a print of this - it would make a good talking point.
Good stuff!

I like the chunck of ice and the way you have treated it, but I must admit I had problems making it out and the scale..would make a very good talking point

Thank you Richard and Petra, I have added a little more info so maybe you can judge the size of it now.

Both photos are different, the first reminds me of a large teabag, set in ice I don't know why!! The second is like a large iced diamond, the more you look, the more the imagination changes.I wish I could take pictures like this Well done
