The Brook

By Julesworks
This is my final photo in my mini series, mainly because in my attempt to cross the brook, to climb the hills where the sun was shining, I slipped on a stone and fell in. I was fortunate in that I had stowed my camera before the crossing. Nothing broken just a few bruises, wet through and so my journey ended and I returned to the car to disrobe my wet garments and wrap myself in a car blanket.
I will try and visit this area again over Christmas and hopefully I'll stay dry!

Thank you Hugh for you comments, I chilled very quickly after the soaking.... just goes to show that your body maintains it's warmth when dry. I have had a mini version of flu but whether that was due to friends & family giving me their lurgy or the dip or a mixture of both I don't know. On the mend now :o)

This does look nice and cold, the water like a ribbon of silver.
