Cleadon Mill

Trying to help create a new bandwagon....

Deerelict windmills can be the 'new lighthouses' Wink

I wish there was more foreground interest near this mill and that there were fewer vapour trails in the sky (a job for ps, perhaps)

Oh, and I wish I had remembered to check that my tripod was still in the back of the car before setting off.

Beautiful shot, I really like the colours and contrast in this. The mill maybe slightly too central, worth having a play with cropping on the left.

To be honest, I think this picture is great the way it is. Any more vapour trails would spoil the sky and there is the right amount of grass area leading nicely up to the building.

The sky is great. If you don't like the foreground why not crop it to a letterbox format.

A well seen shot although I agree with you about wanting, ideally, a slightly more interesting fg. However, you seem to have made the best of what is available. The lighting on the tower is superb.

I like this as it is and think the lighting is wonderful. There's one of these not to far from me so hopefully I can jump on this bandwagon to.

good looking mill in a derelict way, just needs a better sky.
