An English Summers Evening

By JulieLetten
I have wanted to take some shots like these for a while now. Managed to snap these as just as a storm was approaching earlier this evening. Thanks for looking.

This is lovely! The light was fabulous last night, and you have handled the eposure perfectly. I would be tempted to get a slightly wider view, so the main bale takes up less of the frame, but that's just personal taste. If this is your first attempt, I look forward to more Smile

One of the best I have seen of straw bales. A strong eye-catching composition.

Beautifully captured Julie, the light is soft and warm, just perfect for this type of image... I agree with Leigh on a slightly wider view and I would have been tempted to move slightly to the right and show more of the right side of the bale.
Still a great shot and I like it a lot. Im only been pickySmile

Kind Regards
Ian

Hi Ian, hope you are well. Thanks for your constructive and useful critisism. It would have looked better if I had moved to the right however my shadow was in the way, so unfortunately I was unable to do so.
Some fab shots on your site as usual. Hopefully myself and Yaz will see you soon.

Great shot! Landscape is magnificent. Color saturation is very cool.
