Hi,
Spent an enjoyable,but cold, few hours last Winter photographing several different species of bird on a beautiful,crisp,frosty morning.

Supberb shot. I think this is the first landscape shot I've seen of a nuthatch. I like the moss and the crispness of this one.

Role on cold bright mornings, hate this grey damp weather, no good for Owl's....

I don't get Nuthatches at my feeding station for some reason, and it's set up a stones throw from woods?

Very nice! I have nuthatches in my woods and I am hoping to attract them down to the feeding station this winter.

A cracking shot. The composition, pose and perch are perfect. The unusual pale background gives it a unique feel.
