Singing Swallow

By justin c
Hi,

Took this shot back in the Summer. It always brings back memories of an enjoyable and hot Summer's day spent watching this Swallow flying around collecting food for it's young and stopping off every so often for a good sing.

wonderful contrast between the bird and the sky. the bright blue sky really brings out the red/black of the swallow.

Hi Justin,

Like this, although the angle is steep and some of the bird is obscured by the guttering it looks right, (does that make sense?)

All the best

Hi Phil,
It does make sense.I took some less steep shots which had the roof as the backdrop which worked ok but the only way I could get a blue sky backdrop was from this angle.

Thanks for stopping by.

Steep angle Justin, but at least you get a clean BG of sky. Well done.

Great timing on this shot and wonderful sky gives the ideaal background to show off the bird's colours. Have the 30th on me.
