Crovie

By jwatt
This is the tiny village of Crovie, Scotland seen from the scenic lookout viewpoint high up on the cliff. The phonebox on the right side is apparently famous for being in a movie. It was one of the few sunny days on our vacation and we took advantage. Scotland is such a beautiful place!

Good shot, but the phone box that was in a movie is along the road in Pennan.

Thanks - my memory isn't what it used to be... actually Pennan is right next to Crovie on the undiscoveredscotland map which is probably why I got them confused. Oh well. I never saw the movie either Smile

Thank you. I really like this one even though the shadow from the clouds makes the upper right corner a bit darker than I'd like. I'll try to fix that in PS when I figure out how. Scotland is absolutely wonderful, not just for the scenery but the history, the food (yep, gotta love haggis) and the people too.
