Witch Way

By K_T
I took this ladies photo on the beach at Whitby, she was actually waiting for her friend so I asked her for a few snaps. I loved her stance more than anything and thought her quirkyness deserved a quirky image.

I called it Witch Way as she looked a bit witchy to me, she reminded me of the witches out of the Roald Dahl book / movie. The path is from Liverpool, lady from Whitby, the post was somewhere near Appleby, Sky from Appleby, Door is a fountain in Bents garden centre (which is a mile from my house, poke me if you go and i'll pop over for coffee).

It is a sureal image, so I guess it is not ment to make sense, but if I was to make some sense of it it would be, she has come though the portal, but realised she is in the wrong place, so she is disolving into space to transport through the air to the next portal.

OK now you think I'm crazy and have lost the plot. It was a fun image to do anyway.

All the splat and grit brushes I created myself. Used the ferrets water bottle to do droplets into a tray of water and just photographed them. No fancy setup. I'll put a photo of the setup on my Facebook page , which it almost at 100 whooohoo. Please click the Like button while you are there.

Thanks for the compliments all. At Ian's request I've also added all the original images used to create the image and the brushes on my Facebook page linked at the top.

Really? Blimey. I forgot to enter quite a few too. Think I've got results for about 7 or 8 sp far. Wish they would take so long, seem to wait for months.
