Power and Strength

By K_T
I'm back on with editing my Appleby photos now. This guy wasn't in the water long so I only had a few frames of him...but wow, he was perfect!

It was like watching something out of a movie, when this guy was on his horse they moved as one. The pure determination on their faces juist said it all for me.

If the only shot I came back from Appleby with was this one...I would be a very happy photographer! Going to use this guy and his horse in a composite at some point when I collect the right elements...one to watch!

this is a nice shot, i go most years to Appleby and they are tough to photograph this well head on and keep the head, feet sharp and get an emotion in the expression.
i like the mono processing too especially the darkening down of the far bank and the facial and skin tones.

i might post a few of mine although action in the river was a bit limited on the friday.

a stunning mono, the quality of the shot is first class and very much like an image from a movie.
