Lovely gentle double portrait. I don't go in for a lot of manipulation but I'd be inclined to try to get rid of the reflection from the sign in the middle, it's a bit distracting. Just a suggestion, because this works very well as it is!

At least, we will keep remembering their sacrifices.
Would like to see a closer crop of these faces and their medals as well!

Tube sign places these two chaps unquestionably in London and therefore ensures that they are correctly recognised as British (and of course the types of medal, hats and poppies also indicate that). Shows them in full, head to toe and all the medals, which makes them more real, and their shiny shoes show they were soldiers too Smile Bugger the reflection! Thats small fry. Move the camera slightly higher to minimise that perhaps. More importantly: a shame it does not say Westminster in full, moving the camera higher (again!) might bring the whole word into view but then youd be looking down on them, not wise. Their heads deserve to he higher than yours! But doing all that and fiddling with other compositions to get the sign in at the time would probably ensure the loss of image spontinaety. Not good. Its a sweet photo.
Does it also show that these good old boys, for all they did for the freedom of our country are reduced to having to use public transport? Thanks Tony B.
