Turn,Turn,Turn

By Kali
Far from technically perfect ,with the messy shadows, but I rather liked this image of these little Saudi girls playing in the park today and took a few snaps. They were so graceful in their play, and so of the moment, full of joy.

Soon, with puberty, their lives will change as they take the veil and the responsibilities of adult women, not to mention the sometimes harsh climate for muslim people in the UK....For a moment I wished I could freeze them as joyful children for ever...but they will continue to turn, as we all will...I hope they have happy lives...Insha'allah.

it is a beautifully captured moment. no matter that it's not technically "correct" you captured innocence and childhood in a moment/frozen in time.well seen. good job.

a lovely photo with a beautiful, story and so very true, I work with 5 to 11 year old children and their childhood is fleeting, and even shorter these days

Hey Kali, me again. ("Oh No!" you say)

Really like this. Don't be worried about the technical stuff the innocence that you captured is really cool. I know what you mean in the description, I have just returned from a trip to a very remote island in the Philippines where there is so much poverty but smiles just break through it all. I'm sure their giggles put a smile on your face. Hope you are well.

How did that uni assignment go anyway? dare I ask!
