last light

By tumienis
This shot was taken a few days ago just after the sunset. Last Sunday I looked through the window and saw beautiful collored thick clouds. The whole sky was deep violet collor. However, to take pictures it was a 30 minute drive to the nearest shore, so I was very upset that I missed such a scene, which does not appear very often. Thus, on the next evening I got out and took a picture of this. Sure, this is not what I could capture on Sunday, but hopefully worth an upload.

I have noticed that in CS3 my pictures look sharper and clearer, but once I save them and open them in windows, they look kind of blur. Maybe, somebody could suggest on how to save shots to get most out of them? Thanks!

you shot the image in raw. providing your image was shep to start with convert from raw to tiff (tiff images are not compressed like jpegs). every time you work on the image save as a tiff. only when you want to post it re-size it, and then save it as a jpeg at the highest quailty.

obviously focus on the posts.

Beautiful image. I love the misty water and the pastel coloured sky. I too find that my images don't look as sharp when viewing them in windows but when I view the same file in PS it looks fine.
