Antarctic depths

By KangaGal
The pathetic title is because I can't remember what this place was called which is really annoying, given the overwhelming beauty found here. It was our first penguin colony with penguins galore at the front. Out the back were so many exceptional scenic opportunities. This looks soft with the reduced size but simply awful if sharpened.

Taken using AP F8 1/500 Focal L 24mm Iso 200 Exp Comp -1 step. Now realise I should have used a much higher F stop.

What a fantastic experience for you Jenny...Hope its recharged your batteries ? As Susan says the people in the distance give us an idea of scale. Beautiful Dabs of turquoise and the break in the clouds gives lovely highlights.
