My friend Susan being a model for me in her studio. She was using different props, poses & expressions while I was experimenting with everything from studio lights, different camera settings & trying to tell her what to do... This was my first attempt a doing this. Very tricky & I need way more practice.

Thanks Chris & Naveen, Adrian. This photo was taken Portrait & I cropped this down about 20 times before I got a great balance. I'm glad you all like it =)

Aaron, Utter rubbish!

It is utter rubbish that you "need way more practice."

As for the image - it is sublime; absolutly superb. Both model and you have created a wonderful image. I have not seen one quite so subtly seductive foir a long while. Wish I could give you more votes.

Excellent, thank you for posting,

and a happy yuletide to you both.

PS You may not need more practice but do keep experimenting and posting. Thanks!

I like this image and agree wiv Kapulco - it is far from being rubbish. I just hope I am equally as blessed with such great first time results when I turn my hand to low-key in the new year.

Any chance you can share lighting setup details and Exif with us?
