61st Street Fishing Pier Galveston Island Texas

By kaoskode
This is one of my fishing spots on Galveston Island. I took this from a van at 40 miles per hour I had both a ultraviolet and circular polariser filters on and just to please my best buddy and critic Philhomer so far on this site I set the camera to TV mode (time value) to show I can use other modes than full manual lol. photo is slightly cropped to bring it closer.

Thank your friend PhilHomer. That circular polarizer gives you rich colour. clearer clouds and moody water. BTW, I lived in Corpus Christi for a time. Padre Island was our swimming - fishing place then. Hope those little red jelly fish stringers don't getcha. TG

A rather speedy venue, in which to capture such a rich and vibrant image such as this.

I thank all of you for your comments I will go back when I have time and park on the seawall use a tripod and retake it A little later in the evening when the lights warmer. the side you are seeing faces southwest and I will use more DOF and hopefully get some good fish photos they have been catching a lot of nice Blacktip sharks in the surf this year many 6'/1.83m or longer which is bigger than normal in our shallow surf.
