I forgot to mention that here on the gulf coast of Texas USA it's very Humid 90 % of the year Hot or cold. So a half moon is in my opinion the best lighting to take a moon picture in without a special moon filter to get a good exposure in one shot without bracketing. The humidity's challenge is it shows when you get proper exposure at 100 ISO. My solution is to under expose 1 to 3 full steps then when I'm developing the raw file I do all the processing on color sharpness then bring the exposure up. I use canons Digital professional pro that comes with the camera updated no photoshop at all.
