Chase Me!

This male Broad-Bodied Chaser came to the pond yesterday. As soon as I saw it, I put a small cane into the garden (leaning out over the pond a little), so that it was taller than the surrounding folliage. He decided it was the ideal perch to watch for prey!!

Yesterday was glorious sunshine and there's more today, though the 'gentle breeze' was quite strong and the poor dragonfly had to cling on or be blown away!!
