Glasswing & Friend

By KarenFB
One of the first visits of our Welsh holiday was to a Butterfly House (near 'CwmRheidol'). Quite small, but brilliantly stocked. We had it all to ourselves, no wonder really - it was lovely and sunny outside and like a sauna inside!

This is a Glasswing. The feeder isn't really photogenic, but I really wanted to capture the butterfly. Smile

Such an elegant butterfly, you would think that these butterfly houses would find something more 'natural' looking to use as feeders Smile. Very well captured. Carol

Great shot, I agree about the feeders, we have been to many butterfly houses/farms and the feeders always look horrible. I like the added ant.
