Ringlet In Grass

By KarenFB
Yesterday afternoon wasn't too bad, I managed to capture this little one between showers.

Overnight we have had torrential rain, you've got to wonder how on earth these delicate creatures are surviving! It doesn't look like I'll get a walk today!

Lovely shaped capture, Karen. The low contrast shows the detail well.

A fine capture. There are plenty of Ringlets around here at present but there seems to be a shortage of other varieties.

A fantastic close up of this ringlet butterfly Karen, the detail and colouring are immaculate, this one is even better than the one I snapped at Robinswood Hill in Gloucester a few days ago which I was very pleased with. Despite the awful weather there have been a good number of these about and they don't seem to mind flying when it is dull and damp
