I was looking out of the window and saw one of our cats watching the pond very closely. There were dozens of damselflies, most of them flying around in tandem, but some just single males looking for a mate. I went out for a closer look and was just in time to take this little one away from Taffy (it's perched on my fingernail). The poor damselfly looked a little sorry for himself, but I placed him up out of harms way and after a while he flew off!
