Tiverton Canal

By KarenFB
I thought I would share my walk with you! This was taken by Tiverton Canal, near Halberton. Perfect peace and quiet...............until the motor boat chugged past! It's a wonderful place to walk, full of wildlife - we even saw a large pike enjoying the warmer water near the edge of the canal! Smile

Canals have a special effinity with me, with don’t have them in Oz.
They are one of the activities I miss, walking along the tow path…….

An idyllic canalside scene Karen, it's a pity you couldn't get a narrowboat in the shot instead of this fibreglass monstrosity!

Thanks Ed!

Yes, I'd never seen a motor boat on the canal before! There's a horse drawn barge which makes trips from Tiverton - so much nicer!
