Super Supra

By karlfox
A friend asked me to take some pictures of his recent restored and silly Supra. This car is just pure evil so I wanted to do it justice and create a very moody & dramatic feel.
Well out of my comfort zone with the amber car park lighting and in the freezing cold, but white the B&W conversion creates the drama I wanted. Comments and critique appreciated.

Very effective indeed. The mono is dramatic, but I'll bet a colour version is at least as good. Probably better for me.

However, this is shot for effect rather than record and I do appreciate that.

Very strong indeed. I shoot car images for my son who owns a garage and does some restoration work. You have given me ideas. I tend to do a lot with very wide angle, close viewpoints, multi flash set up and resulting distortion.

This retains the perspective but adds impact.

I think it's pretty awesome as is.

No Critique - I just like it - nice one.

One second look, perhaps even a letterbox crop would work.

I like the line heading towards the car from the bottom right.

Pointing the car to the right instead of the left might give a greater feeling of 'forwards' - we read left to right...

And having done that in a mod, I reckon that putting the pillar behind the car would be better than putting it in front. A starting pint, rather than an impediment?

There was a pillar to the right but i cropped it out of the shot as the spacing was odd. I wanted to square it up with the lights about.
Yes, i agree about the ***** line, shame its wasn't a proper parking space as two lines leading into it would have been perfect!

I might put my PS skills to the test and see if i can add one.

I have some colour shots from the same day, I will post a few of these also.

I borrowed Dulers great mod and added that second line.

That second line really balances the shot out. I'm going to have to do that to the original now.
Thanks guys.
